Grants and Fundraising Coordinator
About the Opportunity
The Grants & Fundraising Co-ordinator performs a key role in coordinating all aspects of the organisation’s grant processes and activities. Additionally, a focus on fundraising allows this role to draw on current networks to develop and implement the bequest/fundraising program for Inclusion Melbourne.
We are seeking an experienced Grants and Fundraising Co-ordinator in a part time capacity (0.6) to join our small, yet dynamic team based in Armadale.
This role will work closely with the Head of Policy, Research and Advocacy to build, maintain, and grow relationships with funders, government, philanthropic bodies and donors as required.
What we are looking for
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write, plan, prepare and deliver submission documents according to grant guidelines;
- Sound knowledge of the disability and philanthropic sectors;
- High level of interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in working effectively with a diverse range of people, including philanthropic groups and donors, project partners, community, business, and government stakeholders;
- A relevant degree with relevant experience or other formal qualifications with specialist skills sufficient to perform the role, such as experience in submission writing, submission sourcing, pipeline development and planning, project management and communications;
- Current driver’s license and access to a roadworthy insured vehicle.

Working Arrangements
- 22.4 hours per week, position based in Armadale, Victoria with potential for additional hours;
- Monday mandatory in office, other days in office and or hybrid as agreed and negotiated with the preferred candidate
