Sessional Trainer & Assessor

About the Opportunity

Inclusion Melbourne is seeking a passionate and experienced Sessional Trainer and Assessor to join Inclusion Training, our Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

In this casual role, you will design and deliver accredited, group-based education programs that support people with intellectual and cognitive disability, and those experiencing social isolation, to build skills, confidence and employment pathways into the community.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an educator who values inclusive practice, high-quality training delivery, and working with diverse learners in a person-centred way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accredited training and assessment in line with Training Packages, AQTF, VRQA and RTO compliance requirements
  • Design and contextualise lesson plans, assessments and learning resources to meet individual learner needs
  • Facilitate engaging face-to-face, blended and virtual learning sessions
  • Assess learner competency and provide constructive, strengths-based feedback
  • Maintain accurate student records, documentation and compliance evidence
  • Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities
  • Support learners on placement or work experience in collaboration with internal staff
  • Promote a child-safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment

  • Strong skills in adapting curriculum and resources for learners with disability
  • Excellent communication, documentation and organisational skills

Checks & Requirements (Essential)

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent/successor)
  • Experience delivering a variety of Certificate courses such as Certificate 1 Work Education, Certificate 1 Transition Education and Certificate 3 Individualised Support- Disability/Ageing
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Victorian Driver’s Licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle
  • Compliance with Inclusion Melbourne’s vaccination policy
  • Commitment to upholding the Victorian Child Safe Standards
