Non accredited programs
Two programs that will provide the knowledge and skills for people with an intellectual disability either become an active participate in the community or gain meaningful employment. Programs are conducted at both Sunshine and Armadale.
- Vocational (employment)
- Social Inclusion
Each program is funded under NDIS.
Both programs provide an individualised approach that builds on learners strengths and weaknesses to obtain their chosen goals. Assessments are conducted up front to allow trainers an understanding of everyone’s preferences and a program is then developed. The aims of the program are to provide some theory combined with activities and out of the classroom experiences to consolidate the learning.
